This position will maintain and track data for 150+ world-wide subsidiaries of SS&C, process legal invoices from vendors providing legal and litigation-related services to SS&C, tracking for Mergers & Acquisition, provide backup to other legal support personnel and perform such other tasks/undertake other projects as may be assigned from time-to-time.

Reports To: Senior Paralegal, Corporate & GovernanceWorks closely with both a team of Associate General Counsel’s and SS&C’s General Counsel, various Legal team members, Senior Business Leaders, Finance, Internal Audit and external counsel.Serve as custodian of corporate subsidiary records and interfacing with internal and external resources regarding corporate governance and recordkeepingDraft, review and process board resolutions for U.S. and non-U.S. subsidiariesManage changes of officers and directors of subsidiariesMaintain and update database for all subsidiaries of SS&CMaintain company licensingDraft, file and manage various business entity documents for corporations, LLCs and partnerships with State and government agencies.Assist with annual report filingsReview, approve and overall maintain tracking and reporting of legal invoices worldwideAssisting members of the legal department on a wide variety of legal matters as may be required to facilitate the efficient and effective delivery of legal servicesServe as backup to other in-house Paralegals or support staffWhat You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies or similar or Paralegal certificationExperience as an in-house corporate paralegal and/or with Boards of DirectorsHigh level proficiency Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe AcrobatExperience with DocuSign, Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker, CSC Entity Management, Workday a plusHigh degree of organizational skills and professionalismAbility to work in a team-orientated environment and meet tight deadlinesProject management and time management skillsThis position may involve overtime work, based on business needs5+ years’ experience in a public company legal department and/or equivalent experience is preferredCertified Notary Public a plusWe encourage applications from people of all backgrounds to enable us to bring diverse perspectives to our thinking and conversation.
