The Corporate Pilot is responsible for all duties associated with managing and flying the corporate jet and ensuring safe transport for company officials, customers, vendors, and other charter guests. This role will provide support for the Chief Pilot, with potential to progress into the Chief Pilot role. Travel will be mostly focused on the continental US with limited international travel.
Essential Duties:
Act as assistant to PIC or serve as the PIC of Bombardier Challenger 3500 aircraft on assigned trips – approximately 400 hours annually Coordinate with scheduling team members to receive duty assignments and review trip details and requirements Assist with flight planning for assigned trips as directed by the PIC Assist with aircraft performance calculations and weight and balance calculations as directed by the PIC Perform aircraft preflight inspection and preparation Assist with weather briefings and Notices to Air Missions review as directed by the PIC Complete initial and recurrent aircraft specific training per regulations and other non-aircraft specific training Assist with calls as directed by PIC to Airport Fixed Base Operations to verify fulfillment of passenger and aircraft service arrangements. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level Assist with the creation and management of the aircraft budget Ensure all activities follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Assist with aircraft management and ensure all scheduled maintenance is completed appropriately Represent company on an executive level when dealing with business associates, officials, and customers Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
ATP License with AMEL rating Challenger 350 Type Rating; Multiple type ratings a plus 2000 flight hours, 1000 PIC, 500 multi-engines Prior experience in IMC, night, and mountainous terrain operation preferred FAA 1st Class Medical certificate Previous corporate experience a plus Excellent communication skills Valid US Passport required Able to ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis Must be willing to relocate to the Phoenix area Must be flexible and willing to work a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays
