Summer Intern Project Assignment:Work with Pricing Supervisor Review of FoodStar OPCO locationsReview of National account conceptsReview importance of standardized pricing for national accountsReview list of what is expected to be standardized in all FoodStar OPCOsExample – bid headers, names of invoice plans, etc.Using a checklist the Intern will review each national concept in each FoodStar OPCO listing any areas that are not consistent.Upon completion of concept/OPCO review the intern will partner with each Pricing Specialist to review list and make updates.
Intern will gain:Experience working in a corporate environment.Experience working with a team both locally and remotely.Learn various pricing/contract procedures that influence OPCO profitability.Learn pricing contract terminology.  Presentation/meeting skills.
