In this position you will source, recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain artistic and creative professionals from across the world for employment in Hobby Lobby’s Art/Creative Department! You will get the opportunity to partner with Leadership and other Team stakeholders to find the best-of-the-best talent to fill a wide-range of exciting roles including Graphic Designers, Designer/Stylists, Photographers, Photo Editors, Writers, and more!
Who you are: Skilled in recruiting and retaining top talent in a creative environment An open-minded team-player who takes constructive feedback gracefully and works collaboratively toward the bigger pictureA dedicated professional who develops new approaches and processes to improve performance, productivity, engagement, relations and retention A self-motivated problem solver A relationship builder with strong communication and negotiation skills What you will do:Seek and maintain excellent working relationships across the Department and Company Maintain and execute an understanding of recruiting, training and process improvement Full-cycle recruiting including seeking out and maintaining university and staffing agency relations Ensure files are labeled, organized, stored, and archived appropriatelyLearn new techniques, tools, and technology as requiredAnticipate obstacles and take initiative to communicate and problem-solve before/as they ariseConsistently provide high quality work, often under the pressure of tight deadlinesEducation and Experience:Professional recruiting experience required Experience working on a close-knit team Ability to adhere to existing internal processes with a high level of attention to detailAbility to adhere and adapt to complex processes with a high level of attention to detailExperience partnering with universities and staffing agencies helpful Experience in Adobe Creative Suite helpful Proficient Mac Skills Experience in Microsoft Office
