Job Title: Corporate RecruiterJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Corporate Recruiter to join our team. This role involves recruiting and onboarding, employee engagement, and training. The successful candidate will develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process while collaborating with department managers to create detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. You will also be responsible for screening applications, scheduling interviews, and assisting with the interview process. Additionally, you will play a key role in the offer process, onboarding new hires, and participating in local job fairs and recruiting sessions. Responsibilities + Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process. + Collaborate with department managers to create and post job descriptions in the UKG Applicant Tracking System and social media sites. + Screen applications and select qualified candidates. + Schedule interviews and assist with the interview process. + Collaborate with hiring managers and HR Manager during the offer process, including identifying and recommending salary ranges and incentives. + Create offer letters and process new hires into the HRIS system. + Participate in local college job fairs and recruiting sessions. + Build and maintain relationships with schools, associations, and other outside recruiters. + Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding and new hire orientation. + Update organization charts and report employee headcount data. + Prepare and track status change letters for employees, ensuring all changes are reported to payroll. + Create wage scales for each career job group based on new hires and terminations. + Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training. + Develop unique training programs to fulfill workers' specific needs. + Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, and test results. + Create and maintain the training curriculum in the UKG Learning Management System (LMS). Essential Skills + 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience. + Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS, and Applicant Tracking systems. + Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices in hiring and recruitment. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. + Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for various roles. + Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. + Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree highly preferred. + Experience with UKG HRIS, Concur Travel and Expense, Canva Pro, and VISIO. + Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude. + Thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies in multiple states. + Professional demeanor with the ability to inspire confidence, trust, and credibility. + Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing or competing priorities. Work Environment You will be part of a 4-person HR team in a brand new building in Chesapeake, VA, which houses both corporate functions and manufacturing. The building is equipped with modern amenities, and the HR team is known for its friendly and family-oriented atmosphere. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $40.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
