Job DescriptionTeam Summary
The Corporate Communications team in Japan is a strategic and high performing function that reports into Visa’s Asia Pacific and Global Corporate Communications function, as well as local market leadership. We create and deliver communications programs that drive Visa’s business growth and advance and protect the company’s reputation. We work across external, client and employee communications activities to promote Visa’s ongoing strategy to extend our payments network into new areas of opportunity and position ourselves as the partner of choice for our partners including financial institutions, merchants, fintechs, technology companies, consumers and governments. The role is part of Visa’s Global Corporate Communications group, which oversees all corporate communications functions at Visa Inc., including media relations, industry analyst relations, public affairs and issues management.
What a Corporate Communications Analyst does at Visa:
The Analyst of Corporate Communications Japan is a full-time role based in Toyo, reporting to Head of Corporate Communications Japan. The individual supports and works with Corporate Communications team in Japan including the following:
Monitor media coverage and compile media clips for internal and external distribution by using media clipping system.Assist media analysis and generating reports that provide insights into media trends and impact with support of media monitoring agency and Corporate Communications team guidance.Coordinate and manage logistical aspects of internal and external public relations activities, including interviews, briefings, and employee events.Assist with budget tracking, opening scope of work requests, managing and reconciling purchase orders and complete timely receiving in accordance with Visa policiesCollaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of communication strategies and campaigns.Provide additional support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the communications team.

Qualifications
What do you need:
Minimum 5 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a communications, media, or public relations department.Experience in financial management, including budgeting and expense tracking.Experienced working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, results-orientated environment.Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in PR collaterals, media clipping, financial management, and media analysis report.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with team members and external partners.Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.Strong Japanese and good English writing skillsWillingness to collaborate and work effectively within a team environment.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Be creative, curious, proactive, outgoing and possesses high energy
