PwC Corporate Reporting Services (CRS) team is a team of specialists within the Assurance practice. As part of the PwC Global CRS network, it aims to deliver expert technical advice to engagement teams regarding the application and interpretation of corporate reporting standards with particular emphasis on International Financial Reporting Standards ((IFRS) Accounting Standards, including Greek GAAP), IFRS Sustainability Standards and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), and to support them in providing quality, consistent and timely professional services to their clients.

As a member of our CRS team you will have the chance to learn and develop new skills and professional expertise, while contributing to the Firm’s quality service objectives by becoming a trusted subject matter expert to our assurance practice.

Examples of tasks you will work on as part of the team

Corporate reporting - provide technical support and advice to assurance (audit and non-audit) client engagement teams on complex sustainability reporting requirementsParticipate in the Global CRS network calls, meetings and other activities and have the opportunity to liaise with senior members of the Global team in respect of consultation topics and technical papersWork on the development of internal practice guides and other material; research and present technical papers and consultations.Develop and deliver sustainability reporting training to internal and external audiencesWork closely with other PwC service lines on multi-disciplinary projects as a topic / subject matter sustainability reporting specialistPerform selected reviews on sustainability reporting disclosuresPerform thematic reviews on specific technical areas the results of which will be presented to the assurance leadership and practice.

What we are looking for

At least 2-3 years’ experience in supporting and delivering advisory or assurance workUniversity degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration and/or related disciplines. A professional, either accounting (ACCA, ACA, IESOEL) or a sustainability qualification/certification, will be highly appreciated. Candidates who are in the process of completing their exams will be also considered.Technical expertise in the application of recognized sustainability reporting frameworks, ESG assurance, EU Taxonomy or sustainable finance will be considered an advantage .Assertive, flexible, proactive, and self-motivated with a desire for learning.Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and problem-solving abilitiesStrong research, analytical and report writing skillsAbility to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English & in Greek)Military obligations fulfilled
