With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This opportunity entails being responsible for assisting in the implementation of the firm’s corporate and project specific safety and health initiatives by collaborating with project and corporate office teams. Provides professional safety and health leadership on safety and health compliance matters. Assists in the management of safety & health matters at multiple worksites to facilitate contractual and regulatory compliance by corporate employees and subconsultants. Assists in the development and validation of corporate and project specific on-site safety and health assessments. Monitors conformance to safety & health requirements to drive continuous improvement at the project worksites and corporate offices for any assessment findings.
What You'll Do:
Promotes a safety-aware culture through proactively implementing the firm’s Corporate and Project Specific Safety and Health initiatives.Assists in the development and implementation of best practices that encourages corporate employee sustained compliance with all federal, state and local safety and health regulations.Serves as one of the firm’s subject matter experts on safety and health matters.Designs and delivers onsite safety and health regulatory training to employees of project worksites and corporate offices.Conducts nationwide employee safety and health assessments of project worksites and corporate offices.Periodically distributes specific safety & health information to project worksites and corporate offices.Performs other duties as assigned.What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, Risk Management, Construction Management, or other related Fields of Study and 8 years of relevant safety and health management experience, orIn lieu of education, 12 years of relevant safety and health management experience.What You'll Bring:
Innovation – able to think of safety and health solutions and risk management strategies to office or project specific problems.Effective communication – taking advantage of the various means of communication to provide collaborative interaction to the various organizational levels and locations with the firm.Interpersonal skills – active listening, showing personal interest, respecting others and conveying concern in developing relationships with employees involving safety services.Expertise – displaying knowledge and confidence in providing safety and health consultation on issues submitted by employees or clients.What We Prefer:
Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, Risk Management, Construction Management, or other related Fields of Study and 10 years of relevant safety and health management experience, orIn lieu of education, 14 years of relevant safety and health management experience.
