Workday is recognized globally as a leading employer and we’re expanding in Japan. Here at Workday, our Business Development sales team members are called Corporate Sales Development. The CSD Team is our business development team for named accounts and is made up of sales professionals developing pipeline and supporting the field sales organization to identify opportunities for our customers to unlock value within their HR and Finance organizations.

About the Role

About the role: Deliver qualified opportunities for progression into sales pipelineWork closely with Account Executives on account engagement plans to ensure we maximize account coverageCollaborate tightly with regional Marketing teams on campaigns and provide close loop feedbackGenerate High Value Activity daily to engage with new prospects and follow up on leadsConduct relevant research to understand industry and business drivers as part of outbound planQualify accounts and leads to understand pain points, compelling events, timeline and discover decision makersCommunicate at a professional level to engage effectively with executivesArticulate clearly the value of our company solutionsLeverage available tools (Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc) to perform prospecting activitiesMaintain high Salesforce hygiene and ensure all activities and notes are updated timely

About You

About you: Minimum 2 years of experience in sales-related rolesProficient in Japanese communicationBackground in the information technology industry is a plu
