GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Candidate will use their existing network to grow Workstrings market share throughout the GOM region. Responsible for cradle-to-grave sales process, building monetizable relationships with target customers, and working with all internal and external stakeholders to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Candidate brings an extensive GOM network and has a proven track record of closing deals in a competitive market. Ideal candidate will work out of the Houston area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Business Development and regional leadership to implement and execute the sales strategy in line with the overall regional/global business plan Candidate will continue to grow their existing GOM network to build market share while meeting revenue and ROI targets Drive market awareness as to Workstrings breadth of inventory, engineering, operational support, and other competitive advantages through a variety of channels, including networking events, social media, and industry functions Create and present technical and commercial materials at a high level Candidate possess exceptional communication skills and embraces collaboration. In addition to external stakeholders at various levels, candidate will be working closely internally with field sales reps, operations, billing, QAQC, and various levels of management Keep management apprised of market dynamics and relevant industry intel Support accounting team and field sales in processing sales tickets and paperwork Attends all safety related meetings and follows all safety regulations and guidelines as defined by Superior or its customers Always conducts oneself in a professional manner, including personal appearance and interaction with the customer Know and understand Workstrings Quality policy and comply with all HSE requirements.TECHNICAL SKILLS AND BEHAVIORAL ABILITIES
Prior knowledge in the oilfield rental business preferred. Knowledge of current practices, equipment, materials and supplies used in the rental equipment business preferred. Knowledge of current rental practices and technology used in the oil and gas industry. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to use and apply basic math skills. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Outlook and Word. Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Ability to accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner, in accordance with applicable procedures and/or work order.
Strong verbal and written communication and troubleshooting skills. Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE
