Corporate Secretarial Analyst, Mumbai

The Legal Department is organized into Practice Groups aligned with the firm’s lines of business and corporate staff areas, each led by a General Counsel. This structure ensures effective communication of legal and regulatory changes and timely updates on relevant business developments.

As an Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Global Signing Authority Team, providing specialized corporate secretarial services to the Office of the Secretary (OTS) Practice Group. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, complex business environment, where you will need to multitask, prioritize work, and maintain communication with stakeholders across multiple locations.

Job Responsibilities

Address firm-wide inquiries via the AskOTS database on corporate governance, legal entity, and signing authority matters. Prepare Powers of Attorney, Incumbency, and Secretary Certificates. Support the integration and implementation of the Authorized Signatory List process firm-wide, ensuring alignment, consistency, and compliance across all departments. Identify opportunities to automate the process for increased efficiency and accuracy. Prepare and maintain the Authorized Signatory Lists, ensuring timely updates  in accordance with procedures. Review and update signing authority instruments, including Power of Attorney and Delegation of Authority, in required systems. Coordinate monthly cost center changes and update signing authority records in GEMS.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

University Degree, Company Secretary qualification and at least 2 years related experience in corporate governance position or law firm – required. Excellent English language skills, written and verbal communication. Advanced computer skills (i.e. MS Office Suite). Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Highly detail oriented, results driven with ability to multi task and meet deadlines Takes accountability for work product and owns duties through completion with proper follow up, resolves errors.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Previous experience working on automation projects is beneficial. Experience with global clients or projects is advantageous. Experience of Corporate Governance databases and applications (e.g. GEMS)  Law degree is a plus.
