Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Analyst to join our Corporate Sector Lending Team of Wholesale Banking.

The responsibility of this team is to provide financing solutions to our clients and our way of working is in very close cooperation with other departments of the bank, leveraging our sector expertise and network.

Your key responsibilities:

As an Analyst you will:

Positively contribute to close transactions which have a large impact on our clients

Work closely together with team members in Madrid and other locations and with various product specialists across ING

Have an in-depth involvement in live transactions through the entire transaction cycle

Assist on the execution of corporate lending transactions (under supervision depending on complexity)

Prepare credit analyses and applications, managing internal credit approvals

Monitor and review the existing portfolio (under supervision depending on complexity)

Monitor and prepare industry and peer group analyses

Support in drafting term sheets and in the review of documentation

Cooperate closely with credit risk management, account managers, syndications, legal and the capital markets team

The ideal candidate should be an ambitious professional with a Masters’ degree with above-average academic grades and previous experience in the financial sector, accounting, or advisory firm (including internships); preferably within a lending or credit risk related environment.

The candidate should have sound financial analysis and problem-solving capabilities; and excellent speaking and writing skills in Spanish and English is a must.

In addition, we expect the candidate to have the following key personal skills: (i) hard worker with ability to drive multiple activities in parallel; (ii) attention to detail and delivery of top-quality documents; (iii) ability to work collaboratively across functions (team player); (iv) capability to work independently; and (v) enthusiasm and ambition to learn.

Su función y entorno de trabajo:

Estamos buscando un analista talentoso y entusiasta  para unirse a nuestro  equipo de préstamos al sector corporativo de la banca mayorista.

La responsabilidad de este equipo es proporcionar soluciones de financiación a nuestros clientes y nuestra forma de trabajar es en estrecha colaboración con otros departamentos del banco, aprovechando nuestra experiencia en el sector y nuestra red.

Sus principales responsabilidades:

Como analista, usted:

Contribuir positivamente al cierre de transacciones que tengan un gran impacto en nuestros clientes

Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con los miembros del equipo en Madrid y otras ubicaciones, así como con varios especialistas en productos de ING.

Tener una participación profunda en las transacciones en vivo a lo largo de todo el ciclo de la transacción

Asistir en la ejecución de operaciones de préstamos corporativos (bajo supervisión en función de la complejidad)

Preparar análisis y solicitudes de crédito, gestionando las aprobaciones de crédito internas

Seguimiento y revisión de la cartera existente (bajo supervisión en función de la complejidad)

Supervise y prepare análisis de la industria y de grupos de pares

Apoyo en la redacción de hojas de términos y en la revisión de documentación

Cooperar estrechamente con la gestión del riesgo de crédito, los gestores de cuentas, las sindicaciones, el equipo legal y el equipo de mercados de capitales.
