Corporate Security Manager (m/f/d)

Job Description

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to significantly enhance the security landscape within the organization. Reporting directly to the EMEA Regional Security (Executive) Director, this position presents an exciting opportunity to support and lead dynamic security operations across the DACH region, with the potential for expansion into other EU countries based on individual qualifications and business needs. As a pivotal member of our matrixed global team, you will play a crucial role in our initiatives surrounding Product Integrity, Insider Risk & Trade Secret Protection, Executive and Employee Protection, Crisis Management, as well as Investigations and Physical Security.  This leadership position in security matters will involve crafting regionally tailored strategies and serving as an essential resource for senior management. Primary Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Tactical Security Support: Provide primary tactical security support to designated divisional and regional operations.

Investigations: Conduct or support investigations within the designated region, and potentially beyond, as directed by the Regional Security (Executive) Director. Investigate a diverse range of incidents, including:

Intellectual Property and Trade Secret Protection

Product Integrity (Counterfeiting, illicit diversion, stolen products)

Supply Chain Security

Physical Security Breaches

Fraud and Policy Violations

Workplace Violence Investigations.

Executive Protection, Event and Travel Security

Incident Management, Business Continuity, Due Diligence,

Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain a seamless interface with regional management and operations, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Risk Analysis: Analyse security exposures and implement cost-effective passive, reactive, and proactive programs to mitigate these risks. Conduct Risk Assessments and Site Security Surveys.

Liaison with Authorities: Maintain close collaboration with government, industry, security, and intelligence professionals in the region.

Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to site and subsidiary security operations within the region, ensuring adherence to Global Security Group standards, policies, and procedures.

Complex Caseload Management: Handle a high volume of complex cases with minimal oversight, maintaining an incident reporting database and metrics for the region.

Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; an advanced degree is preferred.

Certifications: Recognized international security qualifications/accreditations (e.g., PCI, CPP, PSP, or CFE) are an advantage but not a must

Experience: A minimum of 6+ years of experience in corporate security, risk management, law enforcement, military, or intelligence, with corporate experience being a plus.

Skillset:

Proficient in identifying security issues and implementing tailored solutions.

Strong investigative and analytical skills, including interviewing and report writing.

Exceptional ethics and communication abilities, coupled with innovative thinking.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively and adapt in a matrixed corporate environment and with government officials.

Personal Attributes:

Self-motivated and committed to fostering clarity and honesty within the organization.

Able to perform under pressure with sound, proven judgment.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and oral English and German is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
