If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a collaborative setting, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. **What You’ll Do:** + Prepare **quarterly and annual income tax provisions** in accordance with **ASC 740** , ensuring accuracy and compliance. + Assist in **income tax compliance** activities, including provision-to-return adjustments, tax form preparation, cash payments, and coordination with external consultants. + Develop and organize **presentation materials** for senior management and auditors. + Address **tax notices, interdepartmental inquiries, and regulatory requirements** efficiently. + Support **tax forecasting and financial modeling** initiatives to aid business decision-making. + Monitor and analyze **legislative tax changes** , providing strategic insights on potential company impacts. + Identify and implement **process improvements** to enhance tax reporting and compliance efficiency. + Assist with **tax audits and controversy matters** , ensuring proper documentation and compliance. + Contribute to **various special projects** as needed, providing expertise and support to cross-functional teams. **Required:** + Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR equivalent experience. + **Minimum 5 years** of related work experience with at least **3+ years of relevant tax experience.** + Strong knowledge of **income tax provisions (ASC 740) and corporate tax compliance.** + Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to various stakeholders. + Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite** , particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros). + Reliable, detail-oriented, and accountable with strong analytical skills. **Preferred:** + **CPA and/or master’s degree** in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field. + Experience with **Thomson Reuters OTP** or other tax software. + Strong **organizational and problem-solving skills** with the ability to manage multiple priorities. + Previous experience working with **government defense contractors** . - **________________________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
