As a Data Scientist on the Corporate Services Reporting, Analytics, and Data (RAD) team, you will work with vast amounts of data and data science techniques to answer the most challenging analytical questions, driving predictive insights and prescriptive automation. Your work will support essential functions including Real Estate, Enterprise Procurement, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS), and Treasury.  

 

If you are located within a commutable distance to Minneapolis, MN, you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data models and algorithms to analyze and interpret complex data sets leveraging techniques such as hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, classification, regression and forecasting Collaborate with business teams to identify business needs and provide data-driven solutions Conduct exploratory data analysis and generate insights to support decision-making processes Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of professional data science experience Knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, and data modeling Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL Solid knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar

 

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
