Corporate Social Responsibility Professional
**Introduction** We are looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager in US preferably in Austin/Texas. This role will be responsible for regional IBM CSR representation and execution of key programs and initiatives to continue advancing IBM’s performance and global recognition as a socially responsible and sustainable company. **Your role and responsibilities** IBM CSR consists of four major areas: * STEM Education and Workforce Development, a highly impactful group of initiatives at the core of IBM’s commitment to skill 30 million people globally by 2030. It offers platform-based hybrid programs on Cloud and Artificial Intelligence(AI) for exploratory level, professional reskilling and upskilling to traditionally underrepresented areas of our society with a focus to potentialize access to IT entry-level jobs throughout a network of alliances and partnerships * Volunteerism and Employee Engagement programs supporting these initiatives. * CSR/ESG Communications both external and internal. * ESG/Sustainability - specific STEM initiative for social impact ‘Sustainability Accelerator’; Materiality assessments for all areas related to global ESG report. The CSR Manager drives local implementation of global polices and strategies for these four major areas to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations. The role manages corporate social responsibility stakeholders evolving the social responsibility strategy and framework and operating internal governance and coordination bodies in the region. Target audiences for CSR programs - young adults from underrepresented areas of society, veterans, women in STEM, mid-career reskilling programs - that we reach out throughout NPO’s, schools, community colleges multiple alliances with public and private initiatives, including large re-skilling programs driven by governments; Communications internal and external and specifics assignments around global ESG reporting and Sustainability Accelerator program. The CSR Manager also will help represent the company in external corporate social responsibility and sustainability organizations, initiatives, collaborations and events. This position reports to the CSR Leader North America and will be staffed preferably in Austin/Texas. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Local implementation and execution of global IBM’s STEM Education and Workforce Development strategy, related to Social Responsibility platform-based IBM SkillsBuild program for multiple audiences - high school students, teachers, adults, NGOs and strategic alliances. * Understand, communicate and strategize for trends and developments about STEM applied to corporate social responsibility among key stakeholders (clients, shareholders, employees, governments, consumers, etc. in target markets. * Evolve IBM’s corporate social responsibility approach and framework, including periodic materiality assessment processes driven by CSR CHQ * Support IBM’s engagement with key stakeholders on social responsibility and sustainability topics * Lead execution of Volunteerism and Employee Engagement programs * Prioritize and engage strategically with external stakeholders, including organizations, alliances, coalitions, initiatives, partners and events * Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal partners / functions that contribute to responsibility and sustainability to drive toward coalitions, consensus and action * Manage agency resources (as available) to support programs and initiatives * Expand and manage measurement activities focused on responsibility and sustainability **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Breakthrough Thinking - understand of Cloud and AI tech market, major players, portfolio and solutions and how this is impacting career paths, talent acquisition and untapped talent leveraged by programs focused on reskilling and upskilling adults and/or specific NPO’s target audience * A passion for innovation and CSR; societal impact leveraged by AI and Cloud digital transformation around talent acquisition, jobs and careers * Demonstrated ability to think strategically * Think global act local -proven capacity to drive local execution of global strategies and models * Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or geographic management * A minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in similar rol; experience implementing similar programs in a corporate environment is strongly preferred * Experience managing and advancing broad-based corporate education and workforce development programs * Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required * Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible * Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-based environment that is fast-paced and rapidly changing
