GENERAL FUNCTION
The Specialist – Account will manage assigned accounts which will include helping with product assortments, selling to your accounts, managing the business to grow market share, achieving sales plans, and increasing profitability of the division. Partner with the New York Commercial Sales Team to work closely with Trade Marketing and Product Development supporting our showroom and retailer meetings, along with managing internal new item set ups. Support the Account Manager and other team members as necessary.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage three or more assigned accounts including selling to your accounts, managing the business to grow market share, achieving sales plans, and increasing profitability of the division. Prepare for product, sales analysis, strategies, and sales materials for routine account meetings. Develop annual sales plans and manage sales forecasts weekly, along with managing seasonal credits related to product returns and inventory markdowns. Partner with Supply Chain on inventory positions required to drive results with accounts on a routine basis. Work collaboratively with cross-functional departments to execute the needs of our accounts. Ensure New York office showroom and sample closet display the complete assortment of each brand and maintain periodically. Prepare line sheets for each brand when a new collection arrives. Complete item set up forms by filling out form and sending to Trade Marketing and Development Teams to complete the next steps. Request and partner with Development Team to receive new samples, along with managing orders for travel sets based on new development. Oversee sample shipments by preparing available samples and requesting any additional samples needed from our Rhode Island office. Manage high-quality images request by checking Cloudinary for available styles.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree 1-2 years related experience. Retail math literacy and application of concepts to daily operations. Previous experience managing accounts. Fluent English (both spoken and written), other language is a plus. Strong business partnering skills. Autonomous, with strong ability to work effectively in multi-cultural, geographically dispersed, virtual teams. Influencing skills and project management experience in a matrix and complex organization, covering multi-region scope Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate messages to all levels of management within both internal and external customer management organizations. Strong Computer Skills, including Microsoft Office.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
