**Corporate Staff Network Engineer**

Qualtrics is seeking an Corporate Staff Network Engineer to join our IT/Systems organization. Teams at Qualtrics depend on a great network experience to do their jobs. As we’ve grown, so has the number of offices and people that count on fast, reliable networks throughout our facilities. As a Corporate Staff Network Engineer, you will lead our efforts to build and maintain the best network experience we can offer our employees.

+ There’s no substitute for being an expert in the space. You’ll understand the latest and greatest technologies, identify gaps in our existing infrastructure, and develop the strategy that takes our network to where we need it to be.
+ Research the business needs for corporate networking and propose and advocate for the most effective and cost-efficient technology solutions to address those needs.

**Things You’ll Do**
+ Build and maintain our global, corporate networks, creating a great experience for our whole team
+ Deploy world-class monitoring so we know about issues before they’re reported to us
+ Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in corporate networking to drive continuous improvement
+ Automate response to corporate network-related incidents, applying best practices of the ITIL framework
+ Be on-call to respond to network outages in different time zones around the globe
+ Research the business needs for corporate networking and propose and advocate for the most effective and cost-efficient technology solutions to address those needs
**What We’re Looking For On Your Resume**
+ 7+ years of corporate networking experience
+ 7+ years of programming experience in the realm of IPAM, network automation, VPN provisioning, or other network related domains
+ First-hand, practical experience with software-defined networking, SASE and MS Azure networks
+ Strong practical knowledge of Meraki products for corporate network operations
+ Strong practical experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting corporate wired and wireless networks based on Cisco equipment
+ Practical experience of monitoring network performance and implementing tools for incident prevention through proactive monitoring
+ Experience and strong practical knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls
+ Experience with Network Access Control, with knowledge of Aruba Clearpass a plus
+ Security-first mindset, with demonstrated experience of operating office networks founded upon the Zero Trust concept
+ Customer obsession, with demonstrated focus on delivering excellent and smooth user experience for employees using the corporate network with both corporate devices and BYOD
+ Experience with Apple products on enterprise networks
+ Experience maintaining networks that carry high videoconferencing load
+ Understanding of distributed/redundant DNS administration is a plus
+ Understanding of cloud network connectivity and operations is a plus
+ Project management skills and great interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills
**What You Should Know About This Team**
+ While we’ve always had a network team, this will be the first time that we have a separate team dedicated to the Corporate Network.
+ You’ll be the charter member of this team, which we will add to later in the year.
+ You'll work with various members of IT leadership and business leadership to ensure that our networks meet the needs of our global workforce.

_For full-time positions,_ this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.
