The opportunity

This role supports the business by developing and implementing long-term plans and initiatives that align with the company's goals, ensuring sustainable growth, competitive advantage, and overall organizational success.


Responsibilities

 Mainly be tasked with supporting Manulife Myanmar’s growth by participating in annual strategic planning cycle, strategic projects while supporting various departments in exceling their performance.

Contribute to the development of Myanmar BU’s strategic plan.

Identify and analyze growth opportunities that are aligned with MLM’s strategic plan.

Support new concepts by providing market and consumer research. Analyze megatrends, market trends, total addressable market, competitors, behaviors, and regulation, etc.

Support the company’s various strategic initiatives.

What we are looking for

Several years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, business development, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for evaluating market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal performance metricsSolid understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and investment analysis, is an added advantageProficiency with relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPointHaving the capacity to adapt to changing market conditions and organizational priorities is essential for staying relevant and effective in the role.
