Corporate Strategy Intern

The internship is based at USAA Corporate Headquarters in **San Antonio, TX.** **What you'll do:** Under direct supervision and following risk and compliance procedures and guidance, you will perform routine work assignments and problem resolution to support other team members tasks, including the following + Support internal consulting projects and build knowledge of strategic opportunities and issues faced by the organization. Conduct targeted research and collect data from various internal and external sources. Perform high-impact analysis and recommend changes that will aid in evaluating and crafting business solutions. Provide support in the creation of compelling storylines that clearly articulate findings, insights, and recommendations. + Supervise and assess external trends; conduct industry and competitive research to identify potential strategic opportunities and threats. Support communicating insights and development of recommendations to leadership. + Assist with strategy communication and alignment: Support the communication of the organization’s strategy to key collaborators up to the C-suite and Board of Directors. + Monitor and report on progress: Assist with supervising the progress of the organization’s strategic initiatives and reporting on results to senior management and other stakeholders as advised. + Ensures risks associated with business activities are optimally identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures. **What you need to have:** To qualify, you must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, and plan to graduate after the final day of the internship. Most of our interns participate the summer between their junior and senior years. **Our 2025 internship will start on May 28, 2025 and last through August 8, 2025.** + Graduation date cannot be prior to **August 8, 2025** + Knowledge of project management principles + Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel + Strong research, data analysis, written and oral communication skills **What sets you apart:** + Graduation date between August 2025 and July 2026 + Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or related discipline + Proven leadership ability through previous internships, employment, classes, extra-curricular or club activities **Compensation range:** The salary range for this position is: $22 - $24 **.** Interns will receive an intern stipend to assist with expenses. USAA views its internship program as a pipeline to possible future employment. This is based on an individual’s graduation date, performance, role qualifications, and business need.
