ERM is looking for a Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change Consultant based in Mexico to support ambitious and healthy growth within our business.

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
Conduct full potential GHG assessments and provide recommendations.Develop, and/or review Green House Gas Inventories according to international standards (GHG Protocol / ISO 14064)Conduct internal assessments in preparation for facilities to develop their GHG accountingMonitor emissions, air quality, wastewater and water conservation, waste management performance.Analyze complex data sets related to emissions, equipment efficiency, and other relevant parameters, deriving actionable insights for enhancement.Be familiar with development of decarbonization roadmap, GHG emission baseline and target setting.Develop decarbonization roadmaps, including mitigation and adaptation strategiesMonitor facility operating and business plans objectives are consistent and in-line with environmental policies, GIs and standards.Develop Environmental procedures and guidelines associated to decarbonization and GHG mitigation Identify deviations and developing solutions to environmental problems to ensure mitigation of facilities environmental risk and improve compliance to company and governmental environmental regulations.Conduct performance GHG related benchmarking studies of different industrial sectors
Stay abreast of international and regional regulations concerning GHG accounting, emissions, and air quality to ensure alignment with compliance standards.Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including other field consultants, industry stakeholders and as needed top-level executives, to ensure alignment with industry needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, or similar discipline. 3-5 years of experience in climate change, corporate sustainability, business strategy, and other related fields. (Previous consulting experience is a plus)Understanding of current trends in renewable energy, decarbonization strategies / Net Zero planning, and Low Carbon Economy Transition.Ability to work independently, strong organization and time-management skills.Effective presentation and communication skills in Spanish and English-mandatoryProficient in Microsoft Office.Who We Are:
