The opportunity

We are advising our clients about their sustainability efforts and are equally set on increasing EY’s own impact on the sustainability agenda. Today, we have a cross Nordic team rooted in Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm, who work internally to achieve and exceed our ambitions. Now we have an opening in Helsinki, Finland as Corporate Sustainability Lead for EY in Finland.
 
We are looking for an independent person who thrives riding the wave of change for a more sustainable world. You are comfortable running large projects and collaborate with many stakeholders both locally and in Nordic teams. You belong to the Nordic sustainability team reporting to the Nordic Internal Sustainability Leader and will ensure that EY Finland is executing on EY’s sustainability ambitions.
 

 
Your key responsibilities

You’ll be part of our internal Nordic Sustainability Team developing plans to be executed in each of our Nordic countries. You’ll be planning sustainability targets in collaboration with regional and local leadership teams, execute and follow-up on the achievement of the targets and ensure high standard sustainability reports involving e.g. sustainability data handling and gathering as well as emission calculations. In addition, you’ll define and execute on sustainability initiatives, certificates and standards, be the sustainability project member in office projects driving emphasis on sustainability and perform sustainability advisory & training.

Skills and attributes for success

 

Experience with driving sustainability reporting and/or sustainability assurance Knowledge within/understanding of the global sustainability framework/standards such as TCFD, and the upcoming ESRS Knowledge / experience on working with environmental management systems like ISO14001 Strong resilience and ability to influence without authority and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships Professional working language proficiency in English and Finnish.

 


Ideally, you will also be

 

Having strong project management skills A quick learner who is innovative and stays atop of relevant knowledge for EY and sustainability demands.
