Description We are offering a contract opportunity for a Corporate Tax Staff Accountant . This role is primarily focused on sales tax matters and requires the individual to undertake a variety of tasks including the updating and reviewing of sales tax exemption certificates. The role could possibly be expanded depending on the candidate's sales tax knowledge and experience. Responsibilities: • Update and review sales tax exemption certificates as documents are completed and returned by customers • Resolve issues such as missing names, certificates, or signatures • Utilize accounting software systems to manage campaign • Conduct auditing and balance sheet account activities • Oversee accounting functions and accounts payables • Operate CCH Sales Tax and Concur systems as required • Ensure all tasks are executed within the given timeframe • Adapt to potential changes in tasks and responsibilities as the role could be expanded based on sales tax knowledge and experience Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax application • Ability to use Concur software effectively • Understanding of various Accounting Functions • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Proficiency in Accrual Accounting • Experience in Auditing • Ability to maintain and manage Balance Sheet Accounts Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
