Four Seasons Hotel Miami is seeking a dynamic candidate for Corporate & Travel Industry Sales Manager to join our talented Sales & Marketing team.

 The Opportunity 

Corporate and Travel Industry Sales Manager is responsible for business generation as it relates to prospecting and securing individual corporate accounts on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the goals and strategies outlined in the annual Marketing Plan and in concert with Worldwide Sales Offices effort. The position is also responsible for soliciting and securing business from key travel industry sources. Sales Manager will be accountable for ensuring quotas and goals are met and to ensure that direct sales activities are focused on generating the highest possible RevPar for the overall hotel’s success.   This position requires a high degree on independent judgement and discretion on decision making. 

 

 What will you do  

Promote and sell to assigned market in emerging markets including Latin America, Mexico, Brazil, bi-lingual speaking (English/Spanish) as a preference 

Develop accounts (new and existing) by mapping specific business and buying tendencies.  Maintain organized and professional plan for correspondence and follow up. 

 Generate hotel  awareness through direct phone sales; direct sales calls, tradeshows and networking for corporate and travel industry segments. 

Work closely with sales and marketing team to solicit, sell and confirm business required to meet budgeted sales goals.  

Candidate should possess the ability to solicit travel and create business development plans independently.  

Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills, acute attention to detail, proven negotiation skills, strong organizational and time management skills and proven record with positive relationships amongst worldwide sales teams and clients alike. 

Conduct tours of property while informing of all hotel services available, entertain customers on property, during site inspections, pre-planning trips, and program operation when appropriate.  

Work closely with Reservations and Operations department to plan detailed itineraries and preferences to exceed guest and travel agent expectation. 

 

 

What will you bring 

 Luxury hotel Sales preferred (minimum of 3 years) or 3 – 5  or operational  hotel experience Proven sales track record a plus. 

Prefer Four Seasons property sales experience or similar luxury hotel brand 

Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Delphi, Internet and Opera. 

College Degree – 4 years or equivalent experience 

Must have solid selling and interpersonal skills and demonstrate energy and commitment to meet and exceed individual and team goals while having an equal passion for excellence. 

Must have a high degree of independent judgment and discretion in decision-making with minimal supervision.   

Candidate will require to travel, attend tradeshows and networking events
