Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.

YOUR IMPACT
Corporate Treasury Operations is a sub division of Corporate Treasury. As a global, multi-faceted and cross product sub division, the primary objectives are to mitigate payment risk through the active monitoring of daily transactions, enforcement of payment policies, and engagement with industry bodies on innovation and rule adherence. Corporate Treasury Operations is currently 300+ staff strong globally, with regional presence in Salt Lake City, Dallas, New York, London, Bangalore, Singapore, Tokyo, all working closely together.


This role within the the Policy Enforcement team partners with thousands of payment users in our firm to engage with their business to review and minimize bespoke processes.  This team validates and report on our payment landscape, implements data dashboard to oversight risk, and performs quality assurance reviews to govern our program.

 

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Partner with business units to ensure best practices in the payments space using detailed knowledge of policy and procedure allowing you to advise on the best methods of payment creation and validationAssist in uplifting procedure to support GS business model improving client service while ensuring the highest standards of controlWorking with the global team to design the target operating model and write the requirements for the Technology enhancementsUse innovation and BI to develop new tools to streamline process and mitigate risk to improve quality and client service


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree with minimum of one year (Analyst) and three years (Associate) of full time Operations work experienceExcellent attention to detail, effective problem solving abilityAbility to ensure that controls are in place and procedures are followedProven analytical skills and a control mentality

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience managing day to day payment riskKnowledge of international payments and/experience in international payment systemsAbility to interpret and write policy requirements and implement governance oversight

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $80000-$135000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
