This position is to assist management of the activity of the corporate used truck sales department. By performing the duties of this position, the employee will assist the corporate used truck management team in all administrative and operational tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES1. Monitor and Execute Used Truck Logistical Functions; Interbranch Transfers, Purchase Acquisitions while maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.
2. Manage Used Truck Pre-Marketing Strategies, Entering Specifications, Pictures and Descriptions of Assets.
3. Support the Corporate Used Truck Department in Ordering and Reviewing 3rd Party Inspections for Timeliness, Accuracy and Validity.
4. Assist the Corporate Used Truck Department in Equipment Disbursement Strategy to Retail Locations, Auction Partners and Repair Facilities.
5. Provide Consultation in the Corporate Used Truck Make Ready Facility.
6. Collaborate with the Issuing of Purchase Orders for all Corporate Used Truck Operations.
7. Contribute to the Review and Monitoring process for Company Used Truck Repair Estimates.
8. Facilitate the Review of all Used Truck Reservations on a weekly basis to ensure equitable equipment accessibility.
9. Complete all Corporate Used Truck Stock Requests to ensure timeliness and accuracy in accordance with company policies and procedures.
10. Assist the Corporate Used Truck Staff with managing the “time to retail” process.
1. Assist in the used truck appraisal process
2. Inspections of UTI and other shop work
3. Assist with sales and marketing activities
EDUCATION
A minimum high school diploma with appropriate experience is required.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Prefer a minimum 2 years retail sales or Class 8 Dealership experience. Preferably some heavy duty of medium duty truck experience.
