Position: Corps Front Desk Receptionist

Availability of Position:Immediate
Schedule: Monday through Friday; 9am to 3pm
Reporting Relationship: Commanding Officers and Family Services Administrator
Salary and Grade:$ 17.00 per hour; 73; Non-Exempt

Responsibilities
Description of Position:
As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the company, and you will provide administrative support across the organization. You will handle the flow of people throughout the business day and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and promptly. The Corps receptionist is to welcome visitors, clients, and vendors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone. The receptionist must assist clients in identifying and obtaining available community resources and community services under the directives of the Department Head. The main role of the receptionist is to provide the primary objectives needed to the clients whenever possible, always with a positive and amiable attitude giving the best Salvation Army representation.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma
+ Valid PA driver’s License
+ Computer Knowledge
+ A minimum of 1 year front desk experience
+ Bilingual Preferred (English and Spanish)
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
+ Communication Skills - written and verbal
+ Able to maintain a flexible schedule
+ Child Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following: clearance and background checks prior to employment: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check along with renewals every 5 years.
+ Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
