SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Corps Ministries Coordinator (CMC) functions as a program head for all programs and ministries. The CMC is a key member of the Corps ministry team which seeks to further God’s mission for Watertown.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with instruction for Sunday Ministry and Sunday SchoolCoordinates transportation for all participants needing transportation.Assists with the coordination of the training of S.S. teachers.Supervise Children and Teens to ensure their well-being and safety during programs.Organize Jr. ChurchAssist with Music and Arts programs as neededMay recruit and drive members as well as visit nursing homes (League of Mercy)Assist Corps Officers in the conducting of meetings (Corps Council, Sunday School, Holiness meetings…)Takes leadership in services when Corps Officers (CO’s) are unavailable.Act as program leader for After-School Ministry to include coordinating schedules and training and supervising volunteers.Responsible for data collection and record keeping of program participants.Assist with the Community Thanksgiving Dinner as needed.Assist with all Christmas related activities as needed.Responsible for ensuring completion of camper paperwork and transporting campers to and from camp.
