Maintain offender records as outlined in ICIW/DOC policy. This includes documenting offenders progress, strengths, and collateral contacts. Completing custody classification, assessments/updated assessments, sexual violence propensity assessments, and conducting/maintaining reentry case plans. In addition, obtaining court reports, complete release process, and entering and retrieving computerized data (ICON) and (I-SMART). Attend all classification meetings and prepare offenders for eventual release. Responsibilities include: meeting with offender families, working with volunteers, tracking discharges dates, annuals and processing releases with a multi-disciplinary team. All Counselors are required to receive reentry Case Management and Gender Responsive training. Counselors shall perform all case management duties and offender interactions in a gender responsive manner. Minimum Qualification Requirements Experience equal to four years of full-time work providing individual and group guidance and related counseling services in the areas of social, behavioral, educational, vocational and related program planning; OR an equivalent combination of experience and education substituting thirty semester hours (or the equivalent) of post high school coursework for each year of the required work experience to a maximum substitution of four years.
