Responsibilities of the Corrosion under Insulation (CUI) Field Lead includes:
Facilitate a safe work culture and ensure crew members apply the standards for safe working conditions and are fit for work each day. Be a safety leader. Perform all tasks according to company and client safety guidelines. Ensuring that all work performed complies with State and Federal regulations. Collaborating with the Coordinators and Hilcorp Inspector positions. Expedite tools, materials, PPE, to the field to maximize time on tools, and help as needed in the field with the goal of 50% of our time in the field daily. Conducting inspections to verify compliance with quality standards and safety protocols. Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and facilitating smooth communication channels. Providing leadership and support to the CUI Specialist and crew members, fostering their professional growth, and encouraging teamwork through mentoring, training and OTJ experience. Actively pursue measures to reduce downtime of workforce and equipment; identify opportunities and take measures to reduce waste and eliminate inefficiencies. Maintain “Safety Standards and Accountability” in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements, which include: Compliance with required HSE Training and Asbestos abatement Certifications and physicals. Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe. Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident. Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working. Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA, job walk downs.The Corrosion under Insulation (CUI) Field Lead is also responsible for various administrative duties, including:
Timesheets for the crew members, ensuring accurate recording of hours worked. Handling flight changes and coordinating travel arrangements as necessary. Managing FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and LOA (Leave of Absence) requests. Monitoring and documenting the daily crew load, including tracking the number of personnel on-site. Managing MOCs (Management of Change), ensuring proper documentation and implementation of any changes. Participating in the hiring process, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions. Handling internal and external material procurement, ensuring timely and efficient acquisition of necessary materials. Handling DOL (Department of Labor) notifications as required by regulations or company policies. Maintaining DOT-OQ (Operator Qualification) logs, documenting training, and certification records for compliance purposes. Assisting with expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and reimbursement for incurred expenses.
