Cortez - Dewatering Administrative Technician

Position Description:

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the Dewatering Team at the Cortez operation. As a vital member of this team, you will support the Dewatering Department by data entry and retrieval for reports, coordinating office operations and ensuring efficient administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, organizational, time management, and communication skills, exhibit a thorough attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.

Responsibilities:

 

Manage Data Entry and Data Filing and Data Sharing. Manage the team’s filing systems and ensure proper organization to achieve team efficiency and legal compliance.  Order and maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment. Manage team calendars, and coordinate meetings and events. Manage the creation and processing of requisitions, invoices, and expense reports, while ensuring accurate budget tracking. Assist with coordinating maintenance activities, including the upkeep and maintenance of the department’s vehicles. Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes.  Coordinate travel arrangements, including transportation and accommodations. Prepare, edit, and format documents, reports, and presentations. Address and resolve any administrative issues or challenges that arise. Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned. Manage incoming and outgoing communications.

 

Qualifications:

 

Prior office administration experience preferred Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.required Effective communication skills across multiple platforms (e.g., email, Webex, telephone). required Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. required  Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team. required Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, SAP, PowerPoint and data management programs. required (SAP Preferred) Commitment to workplace safety and active participation in safety programs. required 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role. preferred
