The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all 2-way, dispatch and communication equipment on site.

Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance activities assigned by the Site Services Supervisor in accordance with safe work procedures and workshop standards. Identify and resolve issues associated with breakdown/corrective maintenance in a timely manner. Complete all services and other job-related paperwork to a high standard. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience in troubleshooting, installation and repair of vhf, uhf radio systems, wireless networking systems to component level preferred  Familiarity with basic network concepts (TCP/IP, Subnets, IP) preferred Mechanical or electrical trades experience in a mining or manufacturing environment preferred   Proven organizational and computer skills preferred  Electronics background preferred Must be a self-starter with ability to follow direction required Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment required Good communications skills required Proven safe work record required
