Position Description: 

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Faculty Maintenance Technician to join our Site Services team at Cortez District.  The Site Services Technicians will be responsible for keeping mining facilities functioning and in good order.

Responsibilities:

A successful candidate will be required to perform all fixed maintenance duties within a preventative maintenance organization including: facility maintenance, stick framing, concrete flatwork, excavation, tile setting, drywall repairs, painting, welding, reading blue prints, and other duties as assigned.

Proven safe work record required Willing to work in a team based maintenance organization required Strong dedication to safety and courageous leadership required Willingness to learn and ability to work with all types of mining facilities required Minimum of two (2) years experience with facility maintenance in a mining environment preferred Possess strong knowledge/skills in roof repairs, tike work, construction tools and equipment, cutting, welding, door and lockset repairs, and layout skills preferred Previous supervision experience preferred Working knowledge of Oracle/EAM and other computer skills preferred
