JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision of the Chief of the Property and Asset Management Division; with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, engaged in moderately difficult but routine work or performs difficult and responsible work, with a very broad knowledge in mobile programming activities and property records management.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Ensures the functionality of Property Records and Equipment Monitoring Inventory System (PREMIS) by development, formulation and enhancement of modules i.e. Property Transfer and Movement Module, Migrated Barcode to Quick Recognition Code System and Mobile Application Module.

2. Recommends appropriate development tools to be utilized in coordination of connectivity and available resources.

3. Compiles and writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in coded instructions so others can understand and use the program.

4. Train users/ encoders on the use of customized program/ software/ application.

5. Records, updates and maintains computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or producing reports.

6. Ensures data in PREMIS were properly backed-up.

7. Provides technical assistance to DSWD Field Offices and other OBSUs relevant to property database systems.

8. Assists in the monitoring and inventory of property/ equipment of the Department.

9. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Outputs:

1. Functional Property Records and Equipment Monitoring Inventory System (PREMIS) i.e. Property Transfer and Movement Module, Migrated Barcode to Quick Recognition Code System and Mobile Application Module.

2. Integrated Digital Files to Database System.

3. Generated reports on the verification of accountability, functionality of the system (PREMIS) and other reports which can be generated from the system.

4. Letters/Memoranda/Notice of Meetings/other communication documents.

5. Briefers, reports, minutes of the meeting/summary of agreements and updates.

6. Project proposals, Terms of References or Competency-Based Job Description.

7. Other reports as may be required.
