JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Provide support, handles and maintains the system used by the Standards Bureau including all concerns raised relative to the technology and equipment used by the Bureau. Provide technical assistance to Standards Bureau’s Staff and counterparts relative ICT, systems and equipment.

 

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.     System Administrator for the Information System of regulatory services and SB Microsite;

2.     Provide support in Designing, developing and maintaining customized software/ database systems;

3.  Recommend appropriate development tools to be utilized in coordination of connectivity and available resources. Prepares ICT service management reports and recommendations;

4.  Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in coded instructions so others can understand and use the program;

5.   Write updates and maintain computer programs or software packages under Standards Bureau;

6.    Provides technical assistance to DSWD Field Office counterparts relevant RLA Databases and Systems;

7.    Attends to other ICT requirements in accordance with set procedures for regulatory services;

8.     Maintains, updates and provides a thorough checking and evaluation on the data stored in the database;

9.     Identifies potential problems on database management and recommend solutions to enhance the database systems;

10.   Identifies potential problems on database management and recommend solutions to enhance the database system;

11.   Monitors and resolves escalated issues related to quality assurance, security management, systems administration and systems development;

12.   Acknowledge/responds to communications/letters;

13. Perform other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor, Assistant Bureau Director or Bureau Director.

Job Outputs:

1.     Provides support in the creation, maintaining and updating of Systems and Databases of the Standards Bureau;

2.     Accomplishment Reports;

3.     Provided technical assistance to SB Staffs and Standards Section’s Staff relative to IT and ICT equipment and systems; and

4.     Fully functional IT systems in the Standards Bureau.

9. Authenticated or photocopy of Civil Service Eligibility and/or Valid PRC ID/Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID/proof of payment or schedule of appointment for the PRC/IBP renewal license; and
10. Performance Rating in the last rating period or its equivalent, as may be applicable.
