JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, performs related tasks on the implementation of the Department’s Performance Management System.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Performs tasks related to the implementation of Performance Management System (PMS) for DSWD officials and rank and file employees;

2. Provides technical support and assistance to the Field Offices/Bureaus/Services/Units on PMS implementation;

3. Monitors the implementation of PMS in Field Offices and CO-OBSUs;

4. Coordinates with different OBSUs and Field Offices relative to various concerns of the Unit and division;

5. Drafts correspondences and communications relative to PMS operations;

6. Generates report on status of PMS implementation and other related reports required by the Office/Division;

7. Conducts research work related to PMS;

8. Coordinates with concerned oversight agencies on related rules and regulations;

9. Formulates PMS-related guidelines and policy papers;

10. Updates and maintains PMS-related monitoring tools;

11. Analyzes employees’ job-related competency assessment results and identify performance gaps; 

12. Prepares reports related to the grant of incentives and bonuses requiring performance ratings; and

13. Performs other related tasks as assigned or required.

Job Outputs:

1. Guidelines and policy documents, including reports and project proposals, related to performance management;

2. Committee Resolutions; and

3. Memoranda and other office communications.
