JOB DESCRIPTION
The Information Technology Officer I shall be working under the Internal Audit and Management Service - Management Division, and shall be part of the Project Management Technical Team for the Information Security Management (ISMS) under ISO 27001:2022 project of the Department.
Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Management Service Director in performing the assigned function based on this CBJD;
2. Be part of the Project Management Technical Team to support the management of the DSWD ISO 27001:2022 project activities towards the successful certification/compliance of the DSWD to ISO 27001:2022 Standards, and continuing compliance to such standards;
3. Provide formal trainings, workshops, orientations, and/or, technical assistance for the key personnel of the DSWD on the ISO certification project and related activities;
4. Shall manage the requirements under ISO 27001:2022 including systems analysis, design, development and implementation of new, moderately complex systems, and/or information systems and data management;
5. Maintains, upgrades or enhances existing user systems; troubleshoots and provides continuing user support, to include resolving difficult problems, advising on the use of new techniques, monitoring transactions to measure performance and continued effectiveness of assigned systems, etc.;
6. Researches, analyzes and evaluates new technologies and makes recommendations for their employment;
7. Provide Administrative and technical support involving completed staff work for action documents;
8. Provide ICT technical advisory and assistance to the Management Service and CART Secretariat to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives;
9. Provide assistance to all other activities related to quality management;
10. Provide secretariat functions to meetings/activities related to the project;
11. Ensure adherence to controls and procedures in management of project resources; and
12. Perform other tasks as assigned.
