JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for managing the overall policy research and design to support / improve policy formulation, conducts the office performance planning and review annually, monitoring / evaluating the Office Performance Commitment Review (OPCR) and Division Performance Review Commitment Review (DPCR), developing program / project concepts and framework that addresses or response to issues and concerns.
Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Performs technical functions in the preparation of speeches, executive summary of reports/screens official documents for latter’s signature;
2. Refers various documents pending action of the Undersecretary/Assistant Secretary’s office for verification;
3. Undertakes research/study on special concerns, to include but not limited to administrative cases, fact-finding, management and other related issues and concerns, for reference and information, and provide recommendations as necessary
4. Monitors DSWD Field Offices and other offices concerned in delivery of services to address special concerns;
5. Coordinates with other GOs, NGO’s, other agencies and units/offices in the department;
6. Reviews financial documents relative to special concerns and monitors compliance on requirements relative to planning and budgeting;
7. Prepares agenda for meetings and assumes responsibility for distributions and follow-ups in the implementation of decisions or plans and exercises supervision over clerical staff;
8. Perform secretariat functions in meetings of the OUS-ISPSC for interoffice or interagency undertakings, as may be assigned;
9. Refer routine documents to the DSWD offices concerned for appropriate action; and
10. Perform other functions as assigned.
