JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Summary:

 

The Project Development Officer III - Data Analyst is responsible for profiling and interpreting data analyze results extracted from existing reporting databases, and development/enhancement of the narrative report and program dashboard which will be used for strategic planning, targeting, knowledge management and social marketing among others.

 

Further, the Data Analyst must facilitate and respond to various data requests within SLP national and regional offices, other OBSUs within the department and to external stakeholders.

     

Functions and Responsibilities:

 

1. Generate statistics focus on the basic profile of the program beneficiaries associations and projects and/ or as requested by the stakeholders based on the monitoring and assessment databases.

2. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide narrative/ assessment/ evaluation report.

3. Assist PFMU in the analysis of the data collected and/ or statistics generated through presentation of M&E findings and recommendations (output and outcome level).

4. Develop/ enhance design and update intuitive operations, strategic and analytical dashboards to help the program managers to monitor the progress of program’s implementation, output andd outcome accomplishments.

5. Assist and provide feedback on the program databases for further enhancements.

6. Provide necessary data to be used for the Program Review and Evaluation Workshop (PREW), Strategic Planning and other planning workshops.

7. Assist in the revision/ enhancement of the program’s performance indicators and measurement, M&E tools and guidelines.

8. Assist in the coordination with the NPMO and RPMO staff and other stakeholders to ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of program targets through provision of technical assistance in using M&E tools and in managing monitoring and reporting issues.

9. Craft communication letter/ memorandum to RPMO, other OBSUs or External stakeholders regarding monitoring and assessment results.

10. Contribute to identification of M&E capability building activities based on the needs assessment of the NPMO and RPMO staff.

11. Contribute to identifying and disseminating good practices and lessons learned to improve the SLP’s planning, monitoring and evaluation system.

12. Alternative representative of the program on the Technical Working Group(s) (TWG) related to M&E, profiling and dashboard development.

13. Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

2. Monthly SLP Final/ Annual Assessment Report

3. Semestral Narrative Report/ Profiling of Livelihood Projects

4. Statistical/ Narrative data as per data requests

5. Contribute to the development of SLP M&E plans, guidelines, tools, etc.

6. Provide technical assistance to the SLP-RPMO based on the scope of work

7. Validate M&E Information Systems, Data Collection Tools.

8. Act on all assigned tasks by the Supervisors

9. Authenticated or photocopy of Civil Service Eligibility and/or Valid PRC ID/Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID/proof of payment or schedule of appointment for the PRC/IBP renewal license; and
10. Performance Rating in the last rating period or its equivalent, as may be applicable.
