PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

   

Education

:

Bachelor's Degree on Communication, Development Communication, Multi-Media Arts, or equivalent

   

Training

:

Multi-media design and production; photography and videography; social media management

   

Experience

:

At least three (3) years of experience in IEC/multi-media materials design and production, layouting, photo and video editing, social media management, and implementation of advocacy and communication campaigns/plan

JOB DESCRIPTION

   

Under general supervision, the PDO III performs regular functions in support to Advocacy efforts of JJWC. The PDO III will be in-charge in the development of Information and Education Campaign (IEC) and advocacy materials produced by the Agency.

   

Functions and Responsibilities:

   

1. Layout and design IEC and advocacy materials using various computer softwares; (i.e., banners, posters, booklets, leaflets, manuals, flyers, infographics, etc.);

2. Design reports and other communication materials for printing and digital/web-based distribution; enhance and edit art-works, photos, charts and other graphic elements to be used in the production of IEC materials;

3. Craft contents and layout and design materials for social media platforms;

4. Develop or assist in the production of videos and/or audio-visual presentations;

5. Deliver creative ideas in the development of IEC and advocacy materials and implementation of communication activities;

6. Document (photo and/or video) JJWC activities (i.e., meetings, orientations, advocacy activities, etc.)

7. Provide technical assistance and support to RJJWC (Member-Agencies and Secretariat staff) in the development of regional and local IEC materials;

8. Provide assistance on and perform tasks relative to Social Media Management and Website Content Management Guidelines; and

9. Performs other related tasks.

   

Job Outputs:

   

1. Developed/produced IEC materials (print, video/AVP, online/web-based);

2. Developed/produced Knowledge Products (i.e., Manuals, Guidelines, etc.);

3. Concept notes for IEC and advocacy materials development and implementation of advocacy activities; and

4. Social media content and materials.
