**Cosmetic Compounder** Manufacturing San Bernadino , CA, US Pay Rate Low: 20 | Pay Rate High: 30 + Added - 09/05/2025 Apply for Job **Position:** Cosmetic Compounder **Compensation:** $20-$30 (DOE) **Location:** On-site facility **Shifts Available:** 2nd and 3rd shift positions open **Education Required:** High School Diploma or equivalent **OVERVIEW** Join our cosmetic manufacturing team as a Cosmetic Compounder responsible for creating high-quality beauty and personal care products. This specialized role involves precision blending of cosmetic ingredients, emulsion preparation, and ensuring consistent product quality that meets industry standards and regulatory requirements. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Compound cosmetic formulations including creams, lotions, serums, foundations, and color cosmetics following detailed batch records. + Accurately measure and blend active ingredients, emulsifiers, preservatives, and colorants using specialized cosmetic manufacturing equipment. + Monitor pH levels, viscosity, and temperature during manufacturing processes. + Conduct in-process quality checks including color matching, texture evaluation, and stability testing. + Fill and package finished cosmetic products into appropriate containers (tubes, jars, bottles, compacts). + Maintain detailed batch documentation and traceability records for FDA compliance. + Collaborate with Quality Control team on product testing and formulation adjustments. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** + Experience with cosmetic or personal care product manufacturing preferred. + Understanding of cosmetic ingredients (emulsifiers, surfactants, actives, preservatives). + Demonstrated reliability with strong attendance history. + Detail-oriented with ability to follow complex formulation procedures. + Flexibility to work rotating shifts and occasional extended hours. + Ability to operate material handling equipment (lift trucks, pallet jacks). + Strong mathematical skills for precise ingredient calculations and batch scaling. + English proficiency (verbal and written). _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
