*FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME* The Cosmetologist takes care of the cosmetic needs of people like skin care hair care analysis of skin and hair related problems and suggesting appropriate treatment. A cosmetologist works in spa centers beauty salons hair salons hospitals fitness centers resorts and star hotels.

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

All states require cosmetologists and other personal grooming specialist like barbers and hairdressers to have a license backed by a 9-month diploma or associate degree from a state-accredited or licensed cosmetology school after finishing secondary school2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity is an advantage.Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Ability to work continuously all day longA pleasing and pleasant personalityExcellent communication skillsMust have excellent interpersonal and people management skillsMust have excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent inter personal relationships with the clients

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attends to the hair care needs of clients like hair cut hair coloring spa treatments treatments for different hair problems like hair loss alopecia and dandruff hair wash hair setting hair styling head massages hair strengthening hair curling blow drying hair conditioning treatments and suggesting wigs for clientsDemonstrates products and applies make up for guests. Explains and sells products to clients. Maintains workstation cleanliness throughout the day and disposes of soiled or used equipment at the end of each shift.
