Under direct supervision, provides comprehensive cosmetology services for patients and employees. Duties include all aspects of cosmetology as well as; hair and wig cutting, styling and adjustments; manicures, and waxing; wig fitting and sales. The cosmetologist must also provide retail support in the Boutique.

Education:
Post-high school program in cosmetology/hairstyling. Or serving two years as an apprentice under a Senior Cosmetologist in a Beauty salon that holds a beauty salon permit.
Licensure:
State of Maryland/ Dept. of Labor, Licensing & Regulations/ Board of Cosmetologists /Cosmetologist license.
Experience:
1 year of related experience
Skills:
• Basic knowledge of purchasing, sales, inventory control and maintenance principles and procedures.
• Skill in providing excellent customer service for customers who are experiencing health problems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with high volume of work and frequent interruptions while maintaining turnaround times and meeting deadlines.
• Experience working with wigs, a plus.

Pay Range

$18.86 - $28.30

Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
