CTG is seeking to fill a Cosmos DBA opening for our client in Atlanta, GA. Location: Remote Duration: 9 months W2 only No C2C Duties: Administer and maintain Azure Cosmos DB databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Design and implement Cosmos DB architecture solutions to support business needs and scalability. Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and optimize database health and availability. Configure and manage security settings, access controls, and compliance standards within Cosmos DB. Automate administrative tasks and develop scripts for routine operations and performance tuning. Collaborate with development teams to optimize queries and support application performance. Maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and best practices. Skills: Strong expertise in Cosmos DB Architecture, including multi-model support and partitioning strategies. Proficient in Security configuration, Monitoring, Performance Tuning, and Automation within Cosmos DB environments. Familiarity with Query Optimization techniques and database compliance standards is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and propose effective solutions. Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with at least 2 years focused on Cosmos DB. Hands-on experience managing large-scale, cloud-based databases in production environments. Proven track record in implementing secure and performant database solutions in Azure. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
