Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading and providing expertise to project teams, participating in cross-functional initiatives, and guiding process improvements and policy establishment. The role collaborates with business leaders to influence strategic decision-making and conducts complex financial analysis to achieve objectives effectively. The role also represents the business unit and the organization as needed, builds productive relationships, and mentors lower-level employees.
This position requires to be physically located in Tijuana.
Responsibilities
Freight Expenses & Forecast
Create Freight trends for Analysis, collect data from Oracle and S4 reports to create freight expense trends.A/P and Ops Meeting, coordinate and lead this meeting review the Freight information for the accrual processCreate Accrual for Freight WW, Analyze the freight expenses trends to create the accrual JVAccount Reconciliation Freight Accruals, perform the account reconciliation, that include the appropriate support and analysisManufacturing Support
KPI’s Report Data Support, create and maintenance the reports regarding to Scrap, Absorption , PPV and Units per Associate in order to create the Manufacturing KPI’s.Participate in meetings related to the Production Plan and the HC for the DL.Absorption Forecast, create and maintenance the information related to Absorption goal, and the estimated volumes for the quarterRMA Review and approvals, assign the correct accounts and approvals for materials that we return to our suppliersDirect Labor audits in the production floor, perform audits to ensure that the direct labor headcount is assigned correctlyMaterial Cost
Raw Material updates for NPI's. Update the Oracle system with the buy materials cost from NPIRaw Material updates for Make items. Update the Oracle system with the make materials cost.OH update reports, Provide the Units Fcst & actuals, and Cost unit reports.Audits
Direct Labor audits in the production floor, perform audits to ensure that the direct labor headcount is assigned correctlyAPAC audits support all the audits related to the costing process for APACCost Roll Process:
Perform detailed cost roll updates, incorporating material, labor, and overhead costs.Validate and reconcile cost data for finished goods, semi-finished products, and raw materials.Collaborate with supply chain, production, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.OH update review, review of the cost update process for OH, for any errorMaintain and update standard cost models in the ERP system.SOX Compliance:
Perform quarterly SOX control and ensure proper documentation for audits.Issue Resolution:
Identify and resolve inventory-related challenges in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and participates in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.Collaborates with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.Performs complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or business, utilizing strong business understanding to achieve objectives effectively.Education & Experience Recommended
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, , Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 4-7 years in inventory management or related roles, with senior-level expertise.Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Experience: 4-7 years in cost accounting areas or related rolesTechnical Proficiency: Advanced skills in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus.Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to inventory challenges.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams, attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.Disclaimer
