Cost Accountant

This role will be responsible for all aspects relating to the cost accounting of the assigned Business Unit from Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This includes monitoring closely inventory accuracy, material cost transactions, participate in costing annual processes, be responsible for audit compliance and preparations for the flow measurement factory in Cluj, in accordance with all the applicable procedures and laws.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

 

Owner of setting up standard cost of new parts created in the system throughout the year Handle monthly inventory reconciliations, maintain accurate records, propose corrections whenever the case and open tickets with technical team to solve system issues. Participation as key finance representative in the annual inventory stock count and take care of statutory and audit requirements. Participate in the annual standard cost review process. Perform regular checks on the correctness of inventory transactions, deliveries, consumptions, manufacturing resources. Take part in the statutory and internal audit, own submissions and provide answers in a timely and professional manner. Act a business partner with factory departments taking care of inventory: planning, materials, warehouse, quality. Prepare additional information useful to the running of the factory.

For This Role, You Will Need:

University degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance or economics. Strong accounting background. Proficiency in English. Excellent IT skills - MS Office.  Good communication skills, proactive and eager to learn.

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Knowledge of IFRS, USGAAP and ROGAAP. Experience in a large multinational environment or dealing with sophisticated ERPs – preferred in factory cost controlling.
