What You’ll Do:
As a Cost Analyst, you will be evaluating product designs and making recommendations that improve production and cost efficiencies. Your primary role will be to develop internal cost estimates used in the development process. In addition, you will review factory quotes and provide sourcing input in selecting the appropriate vendors.
How you will contribute:
Analyze product cost breakdowns for utilization of cost of material, material usage, and labor rates to meet cost objectives Review and negotiate vendor quotes Maintain awareness of the material and labor cost trends. Responsible for upkeeping the core commodity cost for reference Guides the Marketing and Design teams on margin attainment/expectations Manages the cost budget of the assignment projects. Manage all sourcing and costing essentials to stay with the planned budget Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during the quoting phase/process Interprets data quickly and evaluates potential issues to the appropriate level of review Mentor and develop staff to facilitate effective performance across all phases of the sourcing and costing processes Other duties may be assignedYou will have:
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mathematics, or economics from a four-year college or university Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 4 years of cumulative experience in one or more of the following: Cost Estimation Cost Benefit Analysis Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Strong quantitative skills and must have demonstrated the ability to apply analytical skills to problem solvingWe Got You Covered!

Salary range: $70,000- $90,000 DOE
