Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Cost & Quality and Day to Day System Integrator. This role is onsite at our Tulsa, OK location.
The Cost & Quality and Day to Day System Integrator will manage multiple project management to ensure timely execution and delivery of product design optimization opportunities to improve the cost or/ and the quality of the product.
Maintain manufacturing productivity by resolving factory issues associated with product design in alignment with subsystem teams. Identify and capture efficiency opportunities through product design improvements. Will scope ideas and bring them to execution using the Whirlpool Product Development methodology for projects.
Support idea generation in workshops to develop cost pipelineScope ideas in order to understand project feasibility (technical / financial)Analyze SIR (Quality rates) information to generate insights on field trends and open Quality projectsAnalyze Bill of Materials (BOM) information to generate cost ideasManage and execute cost and quality projects following the WPD (Whirlpool product development) methodology (based on PMI)Drive and manage BOM changes in Windchill / SAPCreate Engineering changes to literature update or creationCreate FMEA ( Failure Modes, and Effect Analysis)Create DVP&R (Design Validation Plan & Report)Create work plans ( schedules) to complete projects and introduce changes into productionDrive CN (Engineering changes) work related to PSM2 management.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as part of the project execution (Suppliers, Procurement, Subsystems, Manufacturing, Marketing, Quality)Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering3+ years of experience in project management working with cross functional teams1+ years of working experience with scoping, time, cost, quality, stakeholder and risk management working on projects.Preferred skills and experiences
PMP CertificationProject management skills and system integrationExperience in the Home Appliance industry, and in Refrigeration.Product development & project delivery methodology experience.Product parts & capital tooling tracker system experience.Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) knowledge.SAP / ERP systems experience.MS Office, Google Suite, Excel/Google Sheets Formulas, Charts, Macro/Scripts.MS Project and/or SmartSheets.Budget management, financial planning and analysis, capital management.Critical thinking and diagnostic capability in a fast-paced environment.Proactively take ownership of issues and drive solutions.Organization, analytical, communication, and leadership skills. People skills to work in cross-functional teams with a can-do attitude and ability to integrate.
