Cost Basis Operations (CBO) is part of the Custody & Asset Services division of Operational Services. We are dedicated to leading a culture that delivers timely and accurate tax reporting in our efforts to create a premier client experience, while providing a controlled and disciplined environment that allows our employees to feel valued and engaged. CBO is under the Shared Support Services umbrella.

What you’ll do: 

Research and process cost basis adjustments and updates, including General Edits, Date of Death Step-ups, Versus Purchase, Cost Method Changes, etc.Reconcile positions and transactions against Schwab’s cost basis database and other systems of recordEnsure proper cost basis reporting on tax formsPerform bulk and/or complex cost basis updates, as neededWhat you have

Highly motivated and results drivenStrong organization and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for service qualityProficient in Excel, ability to work with large data setsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
