POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible in assisting to provide control, direction and support to Retail and Food & Beverage operationsDirectly responsible for the posting and monitoring of retail, food & beverage costs and inventory transaction documentsProvides direction and support to all outlets in planning and usage of inventory and costProvides accurate, timely and meaningful information for decision making, maintain data systems integrity and ensure compliance with budgetsResponsible for the monthly stock taking of retail and F&B outlets

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Assists in the daily, weekly, and month end tasksReviews the transactions in the inventory system on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; This includes reviewing the daily direct purchases, warehouse/ outlet transfers, outlets cost transfersReviews food and beverage recipes to ensure appropriate margins are maintainedRuns daily sales reportsReviews daily cost transfers to ensure that reasonable quantity and type of transfers are done within kitchens/ outletsLinks recipes to ensure that all menu item sales are linked to a relevant recipeConducts a daily / weekly spot check and monthly stock take on warehouse and outlets inventory itemsAssists in updating figures of inventory balance, cost of sale, spoilage/wastage, and stock take variance account to ensure P&L accuracyPrepares the daily cost reportMonitors the warehouse and outlet open transactionsWorks with management to help devise and implement business improvement projectsAd hoc tasks as assigned by management

Ensures all are accurately posted in the systemEnsures all physical counts are accurately done in compliance with the company’s SOPProvides daily cost reports to outlets and recommendations to assist in meeting budget requirementsMonitors of spoilage/wastage

Reporting

Monthly reporting of spoilage/wastageDaily reporting of consolidated costsMonthly reporting of physical stock take results

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 2-year experience in management accounting or analysis preferably in the F&B / hospitality sectorExperience in the gaming industry or in a large hotel environment with multiple F&B outlets preferred

Education

Education in Finance / Business or equivalent

PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:

Skills / Competencies

Professional presentation and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels within the organizationVery good PC skills, particularly Excel
